Desiring meaning in life beyond what we make of it undermines the adventure of making our own. We are matter conscious of itself as a result of physics, chemistry, and evolution. We are given such a short period of time to learn and figure out how we, as matter, came to be aware of itself, how we function with the universe, and how the universe, itself, functions. Eventually we die as individuals, hopefully successful enough to pass on our genes as well as our ideas, but even that will come to an end.
With this knowledge, why continue to exist? Why not end our lives now? That line of reasoning is bizarre, while our existence as individuals, and as a species, is certainly temporary, we can spend the short period of time, as individuals, to learn how it all came to be, and perhaps how it all may end, for mere pleasure as the main goal. My existence and the existence of my species may not be permanent, but I currently have the capacity to experience a wide array of emotions, and its best not to let that go to waste. I am going to die eventually, just not now, so why not worry about that later when it becomes more relevant and just enjoy the ride for what it is?

I really have to pity the Jews. They are a hard working people who've contributed plenty to this world. They're constantly the target of racism and were the subject of genocide. It really sucks that after all of that, they will have to burn in hell.

Support bacteria: it's the only culture most people have.
